All is well that ends well. If all does not appear well, that can only mean it is not the end! What can possibly be more comforting than that?
When I was but a sheepish first year university student, I felt like there was no catching up to the rest of my class. The days spent on campus were long; I had no idea where to find support; at every turn, it all just felt like too much.
One day (almost exactly at the halfway point of my degree), I decided to meditate on what I personally was struggling with most. No two academic journeys are the same, and as they say 'comparison is the thief of joy'— even when the person you're comparing yourself to is you...
The day you take pressure off of where you need to be, and instead look at where you are (and more importantly, how it is you got there) is the day that the road to success opens up as clear as it can.
