About Larry Ger
I am a Filipino guy, 28, and currently doing my Ph.D. (Atmospheric Science) at the University of Melbourne, which is the highest-ranking university in Australia. I love Math and Science, and even learning in general, so I find joy when I see the students improve their cognitive skills and academic rigor throughout the time that I mentor them. I also gain personal development as I connect to both the students and their parents, which I always believe is equally rewarding.

Different students require different levels of mentoring assistance. In my tutoring experience, I have helped primary school students in accomplishing their homework, preparing for their exams, and in revisiting and clarifying topics that they struggled to understand during their class. For secondary school students where subjects are more specialized, I have helped students in understanding the concepts in their Math lessons by running practice exercises. I can confidently handle English, Math, and Science (mainly Physics) subjects across all year levels.
To maximize the help I can provide to the students, I prefer in-person, private tutoring sessions. I am based in Melbourne, so I am happy to take in students from nearby suburbs within the 10 km. I connect best with students from Years 4 to 12. My fixed rate for assisting with the general subjects is $30/hour plus the transport fee, with the latter being waived if the parents opt for a personal pick-up/drop-off. The minimum session length is 1.5 hours, at least twice a week. I can take sessions on Mon-Wed-Fri, and weekends upon arrangement. I am happy to discuss and arrange other matters not mentioned previously.
