About Eli
As a musician who loves his craft, I want to be able to share it with others. From teaching athletics to foreign languages, I have had lots of experience teaching young children; I've become an expert at keeping kids both engaged and inspired.
Currently a sophomore at Haas Hall Academy, I've played piano for just over 8 years. Over the past 2 years, I've been studying jazz piano against a background in classical music. I also play acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, ukulele, and mandolin, giving me an enhanced perspective on how the piano works and how to explain in simple, plain language different concepts.

My teaching method is more untraditional compared to other piano teachers. I want to teach students how to use their ear rather than simply read what is on a page. I also want to find what they enjoy most about the instrument and focus on that so that they stay encouraged to practice and play.
