About Larisa

Being a highly qualified (MA with distinction in Russian Philology from a top Russian university) native Russian language teacher, I've been teaching in London for over 14 years now - the circle of my clients includes writers, historians, art experts, lawyers, university students, etc.

NO MATTER WHAT YOUR RUSSIAN-STUDY OBJECTIVES ARE, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR TUTOR HAS A DEGREE IN RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY. REMEMBER - FALLACIES ARE EASY TO TEACH, BUT THOSE ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO UNLEARN.

About the lesson

Professional Russian language tuition for students of any level (be that a beginner's stage or profound academic studies) - innovative teaching methods of comparative linguistics and conceptual approach will inevitably enhance your self-confidence and widen your worlds. Bespoke fast-track Russian programmes could be taught to you in the comfort of your home or office.

The only thing I always ask of my students is self-belief. If you think you could come up with some, please get in touch. In my teaching, I use interdisciplinary techniques which help my students develop rapidly and are proven by their highest scores at various Russian exams:

GCSE
A Level
Cambridge Pre-U
UK universities' final exams
ТРКИ (any level)
Russian for Business

Larisa was a perfect find when my daughter was totally petrified by her school Russian teacher. Larisa fearlessly led us through the preparation for A levels, and what nobody had ever expected was the reward - A*! Best solution for those who learn desperately!

Larisa is a passionate and persistent teacher. Her deep understanding of the structure of the Russian language is the core of her teaching method, her astonishing ability to draw comprehensive parallels between English and Russian helps to get a philosophical insight into the Russian-speaking world. Larisa's lessons are remarkably inspiring and informative. Highly recommended (I'd like to keep Larisa's Monday afternoon time-slot for myself though!)
