About Cassandra
I’ve been a nurse for 15 years. I graduated with my associates degree, went back for my bachelor degree, and then went back again for my masters degree! I am now a Family Nurse Practitioner. I’ve mostly worked in emergency medicine, but also in L&D, med/surge, and tele. I am now in aesthetic medicine. Memory methods worked well for me and allowed me to pass both NCLEX and AANP boards on the first try. I share the things that helped me pass- this may be my own drawings (don’t laugh), pages from my personal notes/texts, or prep books that I still have.

My favorite way to teach is through memory methods: visuals, games, anagrams, etc... Learning concepts can be boring. I find memory methods fun while creating associations that will last a lifetime…not just on test day. Only for nursing, any level.
