About Navjot

I am an Ex Faculty of Vidyamandir Classes(VMC) & Aakash institute. I have completed my B.Tech in Electronics and communication engineering from a premier Central University. I have been teaching PHYSICS to the students for more than 8 years for IIT- JEE/JEE Mains/NTSE/KVPY/NEET & Class 11th & 12th( CBSE/ICSE). I also teach to the students who are enrolled for IBDP & IGCSE.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Since childhood, I was fascinated by the thing around me. so I choose engineering as my subject of interest in undergraduate studies. Being a technology graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering, I developed an interest in Physics because it was the basic science behind any technological development so far. Gradually I became more inclined towards this subject. Now I teach Physics to students by citing examples from the real world around us.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    I started teaching during my college days as a hobby but later chosen it as my profession. This subject interests me because here I don't have to mug up things. It has answers to every incident around us. when I explain concepts to young students, I find their eyes glittering . That motivates me to teach.
  • How does your work help society?

    In my earlier days when I was teaching offline, I mostly taught the students from the countryside because in cities good teachers are generally available but there they don't have the access to quality teachings. I have taught in different parts of North India & was very much satisfied. Now I am teaching online to students from various boards of studies across the world. in a way I am giving back to society what I had received from it.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    Richard Feynman is my role model. He is called the "Great Explainer". According to him, If you can explain the complex concept to a child in such a way that he or she understands it then you know the concept otherwise you should revisit it. I believe in this philosophy.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside teaching, International Relations interests me a lot. I am very much interested to know how diplomacy works across the world. Visiting new places and meeting people, knowing their culture and society also interests me.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    There was a student in my class of 2015 whom I never noticed before because he was not very much active in the class. When JEE main results were out for that year he cleared it with flying colours & got admission to NIT Kurukshetra. He informed me about this through Facebook because I left that institute later. I was very much surprised and got a lesson for myself too that "Any student has the ability to do anything for him or her". After that, I keep myself connected and updated with every student in my class.
