• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  My interest in my chosen field began during my studies, as I discovered the complexity and beauty of how the human body works. Private tutoring became a passion when I started helping peers and juniors, realizing the joy of breaking down difficult concepts and witnessing their success.

• 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach topics related to medicine and the sciences, enjoying discussions that link theory to real-world applications. I especially love helping students understand intricate mechanisms and their practical implications. Administrative or non-clinical topics can feel less engaging but are essential, so I ensure to make them as approachable as possible.

• 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, I was inspired by a teacher whose passion and clarity made complex topics seem simple. Their dedication to helping students succeed motivated me to adopt a similar approach in my teaching.

• 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  A good tutor must be knowledgeable, patient, and adaptable. It's important to understand different learning styles and create a supportive, encouraging environment. Strong communication and empathy are key to building student confidence.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my studies, I once helped a classmate prepare for a crucial exam by explaining a difficult concept in a way that clicked for them. They not only passed with flying colors but also shared the explanation with others, which became a popular study tool. This experience reinforced the power of creative teaching.
