About Naomi
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching integrates geophysics and earth sciences to make physics practical and engaging. I focus on understanding plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics through real-world examples. Lessons cover the Earth's structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes using data analysis and modeling. I guide students in interpreting seismic data and understanding Earth's dynamic systems. I work closely with environmental science learners and those interested in planetary science. My approach emphasizes critical thinking, connecting physics principles to observable phenomena. Practical exercises and simulations help students visualize complex processes clearly. I encourage curiosity and hands-on exploration, making challenging concepts accessible. Students learn to analyze real data and develop predictive models. My goal is to build well-rounded, confident physicists with a deep insight into our dynamic Earth. Physics becomes not just a subject, but a tool for understanding the world around us.

My teaching approach focuses on making physics clear, engaging, and highly practical. I emphasize real-world engineering applications to help students see the relevance of concepts. Topics cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, statics, dynamics in structures, and materials science. I integrate these subjects with problem-solving techniques used in engineering practice. Lessons are relaxed and interactive, allowing students to ask questions freely. I focus on applying physics to real engineering problems rather than just theory. Computational physics tools are used to simulate and analyze scenarios. Assignments and exercises are designed to reinforce concepts and develop practical skills. I guide students in connecting physics principles to design, construction, and innovation. Exam preparation and coursework support are tailored to individual needs. I encourage critical thinking and problem-solving in every session. Students gain confidence in applying physics to projects and real-life challenges. The goal is to make physics not just understandable, but directly useful in engineering careers.
