About Maya
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My teaching is shaped by a passion for exploring the deeper connections between mathematics and the natural world. I integrate concepts from chaos theory and fractal geometry into practice, helping students see how mathematics explains the complexity of systems around us. I guide learners through topics like iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors using visual examples and interactive simulations. Instead of memorisation, I emphasise reasoning and discovery, which creates long-term understanding. Each student is guided with patience and care, helping them find their unique way of approaching complex theorems.
