About Irina
Привет! My name is Irina, I hold two Master's degrees in Pharmacy and History from Altai State University. I am originally from Siberia and have a deep love for the Russian language and culture. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching individuals of all ages, from children to adults. My teaching philosophy revolves around making learning enjoyable and engaging. With me, lessons are not only educational but also fun-filled, ensuring quick progress and active participation. I look forward to teaching many more students and helping them reach their potential!

I am committed to providing high-quality, personalised tutoring that empowers students to achieve their language learning goals. My lessons incorporate a variety of techniques, including conversational practice, grammar exercises and reading comprehension activities. Lessons vary student to student since it depends on their level (all of which are welcome!). I assure each session is unique to the individual's areas of improvement for efficient progression. By getting to know my students and applying these methods, I ensure a comprehensive and immersive learning experience that enhances students' language skills in all areas: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The length of a lesson depends solely on the student and what they would prefer, I can offer anything between 1-2 hours at a time. I have extensive experience teaching individuals of all ages, from children to adults, and I approach each session with enthusiasm! My background includes teaching history at a school, followed by years of private tutoring for primary school children in various subjects. Additionally, I've taught Russian to learners of different ages, starting from beginner levels. This diverse teaching background has equipped me with the skills and flexibility to effectively engage students across different age groups and subjects. My lessons are for anyone with an interest in Russian language or culture and would like to learn first hand from a native!
