About Dax
With a teaching experience of more than 19 years, I specialise in Piano instruction for school students, college learners, and working professionals. I have worked with students of all age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. My goal is to make piano learning simple, enjoyable, and effective for every student.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, personalisation, and consistency. I believe every student has unique musical abilities, and it is important to nurture them at the right pace. I focus on building strong basics, including finger strength, coordination, rhythm, and reading music. At the same time, I encourage students to enjoy the music they play and express themselves confidently.
I follow a structured lesson plan but remain flexible based on student needs. I explain concepts using simple language and practical demonstrations, ensuring students feel comfortable and confident during lessons. I also support working professionals by providing flexible learning methods that fit their schedules.
Some of my notable achievements include helping students successfully perform at school and college events, guiding learners through graded music exams, and building long-term musical confidence. Many of my students continue playing piano as a lifelong hobby. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students grow both musically and personally.

My teaching approach focuses on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their strengths, challenges, and goals. In piano lessons, I combine structured learning with creative exploration, allowing students to enjoy music while building strong fundamentals.
I use clear explanations, step-by-step demonstrations, and encourage questions, ensuring that students feel confident and supported. I also connect lessons to real-life examples, helping students understand how music relates to everyday life. Outside of piano, I can teach other relevant subjects, using the same patient and flexible approach. My goal is not just to teach notes and techniques but to inspire a love for learning and music.
