About Dr Alex
I’m Dr Alex Scott, a qualified teacher with a PhD in Psychology and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I bring over 10 years of experience teaching psychology, research methods, and statistics, alongside an extensive background in psychological research. I’ve led university-level programmes, developed psychology modules, and contributed to nationally funded projects—so I understand both the academic and practical sides of the subject. My tutoring is friendly, enthusiastic, and supportive. I’m passionate about teaching and psychology, and I love helping students build confidence, master complex ideas, and succeed at every level—from GCSE and A-level to undergraduate and postgraduate study. I’m a qualified teacher and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a PhD in Psychology and over 10 years’ experience. I deliver engaging online sessions using interactive tools and real-world examples to build confidence and understanding. I’ve designed and led university-level psychology programmes, developed models for teaching complex topics, and mark undergraduate and postgraduate work—so I know what success looks like.
