About Emily
I have a PhD in chemistry and have 10 years of teaching experience, 7 of which were teaching general chemistry II at a university level. In a typical session we would walk through any problems you have. My expertise is seeing exactly where a student is stuck and knowing what knowledge is missing to be able to help in the shortest amount of time. I then am able to fill in the knowledge gap/confusion source in a way that exposes the underlying patterns on how to solve the problem, improving your understanding of chemistry as well as helping you be able to solve the problems on your homework and exams.
