About Sean
Educational Background & Certifications: I am a licensed paramedic who completed my EMT training at West Coast EMT Riverside and advanced through the Victor Valley Paramedic Program, where I finished in the top 5 of my class. I earned my NAEMSE (National Association of EMS Educators) instructor certification in January 2024, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, BART, and PHTLS. With over 7 years of active 911 field experience, I bring both academic excellence and real-world expertise to my instruction. Teaching Experience & Approach: I have served as a Primary EMT Instructor at both Health Pro EMS in Riverside and the City of Orange, teaching students across all age ranges from teenage fire explorers to adult career changers. My teaching methodology centers on visual aids and scenario-based learning drawn from my extensive 911 field experiences, making complex medical concepts relatable and memorable. I have successfully instructed over 1,000 students in various settings, from intimate one-on-one tutoring sessions to large classroom environments with 40+ students.
