About Tessa
I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry. My passion lies in the chemistry of natural products and biomolecules. I’m especially fascinated by the role of secondary metabolites, natural dyes, flavours, and bioactive compounds found in plants and other living organisms. I enjoy helping students understand how nature creates these complex molecules and how we can study them. I guide learners through techniques of extraction, isolation, and structural elucidation. My lessons combine theory with practical examples to make the learning process meaningful and exciting. I’ve worked with students at different levels, helping them appreciate the connection between chemistry and the natural world. I make sure concepts are clear, engaging, and easy to apply.
