About Tessa
My teaching methodology is built on collaboration, empathy, and open-mindedness. I believe learning works best when students feel supported and involved, so I encourage open communication and active participation in every lesson. My goal is to build both knowledge and confidence, so students feel comfortable using these tools not only for schoolwork but also in their future careers. I am a passionate tutor with 9 years of experience teaching Microsoft Excel to both high school and college students. Over this time, I have had the privilege of guiding more than 300 students, helping them build strong skills in formulae, macros, and data analysis. My teaching is driven by a love for education and a desire to make Excel simple, clear, and enjoyable for everyone, no matter their level of experience. One of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been seeing students grow in confidence and apply their knowledge to real-life projects and assignments. Many of my students have shared how the skills they learnt in my lessons helped them not only achieve higher grades but also solve problems they once found difficult. Helping learners turn their struggles into strengths has been one of my proudest milestones as a tutor. For me, tutoring is more than just teaching Excel it’s about creating an environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and motivated to succeed. I believe every learner has potential, and with patience, practice, and the right guidance, they can achieve great results. My goal is to continue inspiring students and equipping them with skills that will benefit them in both academics and future careers.
