About Mia
I am a mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My passion lies in helping students explore the beauty and complexity of math beyond standard curricula. I specialize in integrating chaos theory and fractal geometry into practical learning. This approach allows students to understand complex systems and patterns in nature.
I teach concepts like iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors through engaging visual examples and interactive simulations. Lessons are designed to spark curiosity and encourage hands-on exploration. I work closely with students who are eager to connect mathematics with interdisciplinary science. My goal is to help learners see math as a living, dynamic field rather than abstract formulas.

My teaching approach focuses on making mathematics both engaging and meaningful. I believe every student has the potential to enjoy and excel in math. Lessons are personalized to match each student’s pace and learning style. I cover traditional topics like algebra, calculus, and geometry, as well as logic puzzles, game theory, and recreational mathematics. I also show how math applies to everyday life, helping students see its real-world value.
I encourage playful exploration, letting students experiment and discover concepts on their own. Challenges are framed as fun opportunities, not obstacles. I work closely with parents to support students’ progress and celebrate their achievements. Problem-solving skills are nurtured alongside critical thinking, making learning deeper and more lasting.
