About Lilia
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematics. My teaching focuses on applying mathematics to environmental science and sustainability modelling. I specialise in population dynamics, resource management, and climate modelling techniques. I enjoy helping students understand how mathematical concepts can solve real-world ecological problems. I use real-world ecological data and simulation tools to make learning interactive and practical. Lessons are designed to connect theory with applications, helping students see the relevance of mathematics in sustainability efforts. I emphasise critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. I guide students in building confidence while tackling complex models and equations. I focus on helping students recognise patterns, apply formulae effectively, and manage time wisely during tests. Each session is tailored to individual learning styles and pace, ensuring steady progress. Support goes beyond solving problems, with guidance on strategy development, test-taking techniques, and confidence-building. Regular feedback helps track improvement and identify areas needing extra focus.
