About Alaya
I am a Mathematics tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Master of Mathematics (MMath) qualification. My teaching focuses on building strong formal reasoning skills that go beyond routine problem solving. My teaching approach for Mathematics is nurturing, personalized, and focused on building strong understanding step by step. I teach school and university level maths including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, probability, and number theory. Practice sessions include puzzle solving and logical challenges to strengthen thinking ability. Support is provided in exam preparation, homework, and assignments with clear step by step guidance. I also guide learners in developing confidence in tackling complex problems independently. Regular feedback and encouragement help in steady improvement.
