About Riya
In my lessons, we explore the deeper layers of mathematics—abstract algebra, number theory, and the art of crafting rigorous proofs. My approach is gentle, reflective, and centered on helping you see the beauty and structure that lies beneath complex ideas. Whether you're revisiting mathematics after a career shift or learning on your own, you'll find a space where questions are welcomed and thinking is valued. We don’t rush. Instead, we take time to understand why a theorem holds, how structures connect, and what makes a proof elegant. Each session is designed to strengthen your logical reasoning and encourage independent exploration. I guide you through the maze of definitions and axioms with patience and clarity. You’ll build a foundation not just to solve problems, but to truly understand them. Through examples, discussions, and carefully chosen challenges, we bring abstract ideas to life. I’m here to support your unique learning path, helping you grow confident with even the most advanced concepts. Together, we aim for not just skill, but insight.

With over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Pure Mathematics, I specialize in teaching the mathematical foundations that drive artificial intelligence and machine learning. My sessions are tailored for students who aspire to become data scientists, AI engineers, or simply want to deepen their understanding of how math powers intelligent systems. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into intuitive, digestible parts.
From gradient descent and optimization algorithms to the core linear algebra behind neural networks, I help learners grasp how math fuels learning models. We also dive into probability theory and Bayesian inference, exploring how uncertainty is modeled in intelligent decision-making. I’ve worked with high schoolers prepping for advanced studies and university students building AI projects.
I emphasize conceptual clarity and hands-on applications. Lessons include real-world problem-solving, visuals, and code-integrated examples to bridge math with machine learning tools. Students learn how eigenvalues, matrices, and vector spaces form the backbone of deep learning. We also look at cost functions, convergence behavior, and probabilistic reasoning in data-driven contexts.
Many of my students now thrive in AI and data science programs, research labs, and startups. I take pride in supporting their journeys step by step. If you're curious about how math makes machines intelligent, you're in the right place. Let’s master the math that drives the future—together!
