Namaskaram! I am Nisha Balakrishnan, a native Malayalam speaker and an experienced educator from Kerala.
With a Master’s Degree in Education and English Literature, my goal is to do more than just teach basic vocabulary—I strive to refine the sensibility of my students and widen their mental horizon through the beauty of the Malayalam language.
Because I am a published Malayalam poet and a professional English-to-Malayalam translator, I have a deep, bilingual command of both languages. This is a massive advantage for my students: it means I can perfectly translate and explain complex Malayalam concepts, grammar, and pronunciation directly to English speakers without any confusion.
