About Fortune

Hello! I’m Fortune - a Machine Learning and Generative AI Engineer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in building intelligent systems and solving complex problems through data. My journey began with a deep curiosity about how machines can learn from data, and today, I specialize in teaching students how to master this transformative field. I hold a degree in statistical and mathematical physics and have worked as an ML Engineer for top-tier companies where I applied machine learning techniques to real-world challenges—everything from predictive modeling to natural language processing. My professional experience has given me a unique insight into what skills are truly valuable in today’s fast-paced tech world, and I’m passionate about passing that knowledge on to others. When you learn with me, you’re not just getting a tutor—you’re getting a mentor who genuinely cares about your growth. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, where complex concepts are made simple, and you’ll have the confidence to tackle advanced machine learning problems on your own. I’m always here to guide you, answer your questions, and help you overcome any hurdles you encounter. I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and committed to your success. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your expertise, my goal is to make your learning experience both enjoyable and impactful. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your machine learning goals!

About the lesson

As a tutor specializing in Machine Learning Engineering | Python | Coding | Software Engineering, my approach is all about breaking down complex concepts into digestible, real-world applications. I focus on not just what you're learning but why it matters.

Here's how I guide my students to mastering machine learning:

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I believe in a hands-on, project-based learning approach. Whether you're just starting or looking to deepen your knowledge, every concept is taught through real-world examples, coding exercises, and practical applications. I’ll walk you through key ML algorithms, their use cases, and how to apply them using Python libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. My lessons are highly interactive, encouraging questions and discussions, making sure you grasp the "why" behind each concept.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Recap & Objectives – We start by reviewing what you already know and outlining the goals for the session.

Concept Breakdown – I explain new concepts with visual aids, analogies, and real-life examples, ensuring clarity.

Hands-on Practice – You’ll code alongside me in Jupyter notebooks, implementing algorithms and solving problems.

Discussion & Application – We’ll explore how the concept applies in the industry and tackle real-world projects.

Q&A & Next Steps – I’ll leave space for all your questions and provide personalized guidance on what to focus on next.

What Sets Me Apart:
Industry Experience: I’ve worked as an ML Engineer, so I know exactly what skills are needed in real-world scenarios. I blend theory with practical insights, teaching you skills you can immediately apply.

Tailored Lessons: Whether you're a beginner or at an advanced level, I customize my lessons to suit your learning style and goals. My aim is to build your confidence in writing your own machine learning code and understanding model evaluation techniques.

Practical Focus: I emphasize solving real-world problems. My lessons don’t just cover theoretical concepts; we focus on projects that you can include in your portfolio to show future employers or academic institutions.

Who Are These Lessons For?
University students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.

Aspiring Machine Learning Engineers who want to learn how to build and deploy models.

Professionals in tech or data-related fields who want to pivot into machine learning.

Anyone with a basic understanding of Python programming who’s ready to explore the world of AI!

Together, we'll demystify machine learning and make you confident in building solutions that can truly make an impact.
