About Lily
I am a passionate piano tutor with 9 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from school beginners to college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive, positive, and motivating environment where students feel confident to explore music, develop their technical skills, and express themselves creatively.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them gain recognition for their dedication and accomplishments. My lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s individual goals, pace, and interests.
I combine structured practice with creative exercises to make learning piano both productive and enjoyable while fostering discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.

I follow a teaching approach based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I aim to create lessons that are friendly, flexible, and focused on each student’s strengths and needs. In piano lessons, I balance practical technique with musical creativity, helping students build confidence and skill at their own pace.
Communication is important in my style—I explain concepts clearly and encourage questions to make learning interactive. Supportiveness ensures that students feel motivated even when they face challenges. I apply the same methodology to other subjects I teach, such as music theory or beginner composition, using examples that make learning simple and fun.
My mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where students can thrive, enjoy the learning process, and develop both talent and self-belief.
