About Rahul

As a Superprof Ambassador and PhD in Artificial Intelligence (Computer Science) graduate, I bridge the gap between complex computational theory and practical programming success. Computer Science is one of the fastest-evolving subjects in the UK curriculum, and I stay at the forefront of these changes to ensure my students are always ahead of the curve.

I provide professional coaching in Python and Ruby, focusing on high-level exam preparation and programming assignments.

I specialise in helping students who feel overwhelmed by their NEA (Non-Exam Assessment) projects or struggle with the abstract nature of Algorithms and Data Structures. My background in the industry/academia allows me to explain how "Dry Run" trace tables, Big O Notation, and Boolean Logic apply to real-world software engineering. I have a proven track record of helping students secure top marks in their coding assignments and final written papers by fostering a deep, logical understanding of the machine.

I focus on the OCR and AQA specifications, particularly the Computer Science NEA coursework. We use live-coding to master Algorithms, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming.

My Methodology: The "Code & Conquer" Approach
My teaching is split into two distinct streams to ensure total exam readiness:

The Logic of Programming: We don't just "copy-paste." I teach the underlying logic of loops, arrays, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) so you can write clean, efficient code in Python, Java, or C#.

Exam & Assignment Strategy: For written exams, we focus on the high-mark questions—Computer Architecture, Networking, and Data Representation. I provide template answers for 8-12 mark "Discuss" questions that examiners love.

What our sessions look like:

Live Coding: We use collaborative editors (like Replit or VS Code Live Share) so I can see your logic in real-time.

Assignment Mentoring: I provide structured guidance on how to document and test your code for your coursework, ensuring you meet every criterion of the mark scheme.

Duration: 60-minute standard sessions or 90-minute "Debug Marathons" for assignment deadlines.

Level: GCSE, A-Level (AQA/OCR/CIE), and Undergraduate modules.
