About Rolando
I'm a structural engineering PhD with 15+ years of experience playing and teaching bridge. I have been a member of junior and open Ecuadorian team, and U21 South American champion. Furthermore, I have been a director and pro player for about 4 years, helping several people to get to Lifemaster. My goal will always be to broaden your understanding of the game as I think this is key to drastically improve your game.

Rolando is an excellent teacher. He is knowledgeable and patient. His explanation of the material is clear and precise. As I student, I learned a lot from Rolando.
I have known Rolando since Covid. I was moving to a new town and I found him in our local bridge club website. He was giving lessons to players online and he mentored me as a student of bridge. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I would certainly recommend him as a tutor. Eventually, we became friends and we played a number of bridge tournaments together.
Rolando is an excellent tutor. He is easygoing and willing to set the agenda or go with your suggestions. Highly recommended.
