About KeAndrea
I am an American English Instructor who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from an accredited university in the United States and several English teaching certificates, including a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I have several years of experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels worldwide, both in person and virtually since before the pandemic.
I am a dynamic, attentive, and passionate instructor who gets much pleasure out of helping others. This is a huge part of the reason I decided to go into teaching. There is great joy in helping students learn to communicate with others, and in doing that, helping them learn to communicate with themselves.

My goal in the classroom is to not only improve the language skills of my students, but their confidence as well!
A typical lesson with me usually goes something like this:
-Greeting and warm-up activity or discussion
-Lesson of the day (this could be a specific General English or Business lesson plan, Article Reading , or Topic Discussion)
-Role play/ Functional Language Usage Activity
-Follow-up activity, discussion, or game
Although error correction and grammar play a part in my classroom, conversation-based lessons and a comfortable atmosphere are key to my approach.
General English lessons can be enjoyed by many levels. These are great for high schoolers or adults who want to practice their English speaking skills! Business English lessons work best with students from B2-C2 levels, as we look at more advanced material. There is something for everyone though, and I take an individualized approach to all students.
