About Sidra
I am a PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences at the University of Calgary with over eight years of teaching and research experience in microbiology and biological sciences. I previously worked as a Senior Lecturer of Microbiology, where I taught undergraduate courses and supervised student research projects. My research focuses on antimicrobial resistance and innovative therapeutic strategies against bacterial pathogens. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students understand complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way. My goal is to support students in achieving academic success and building confidence in science.

My lessons focus on helping students develop a clear understanding of biological concepts through interactive discussions, visual explanations, and real-life scientific examples. I teach biology, microbiology, molecular biology, and related subjects at both high school and university levels. As a PhD researcher with extensive teaching experience, I also help students prepare for exams, understand difficult course material, and improve their scientific reasoning. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning needs to build both confidence and strong academic performance.
