About Baetty
I'm an experienced English for Academic Purposes (EAP) tutor at university level, helping students develop the language and academic skills needed to succeed in higher education.
Having studied as an international student in both Australia and the UK, I understand first-hand the challenges of adapting to a new academic culture, meeting university expectations, and communicating confidently in English. This experience allows me to support students with empathy and practical insight.
I have worked with learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, helping them build confidence in academic writing, critical reading, seminar discussions, presentations, and intercultural communication.
