About Ann
Welcome to Kula Yoga St. Louis! At Kula Yoga, we teach you to find confidence and strength through stronger connection with your body. (concealed information)
I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and have been teaching others to integrate yoga into their lives for the last eight. I hold a RYT 200 certification.
My approach is unique. I find yoga to be a very personal journey. We discuss your goals and your ideal yoga practice so that we can personalize everything from our poses to the music. I also customize a home program for you to help you continue with regular practice
I came to teaching because I had profound personal experiences with yoga impacting my life. As a chronic pain sufferer, yoga was prescribed for me. Over the last decade and a half, yoga has not only allowed me to maintain my daily living, it has strengthened my body and my soul.
I hold a RYT 200 certification through Yoga Alliance.
I have 15+ years yoga experience.
I have 8 years experience teaching others to integrate yoga into their lives.
I have a Masters Degree psychology

Fill out a new client questionnaire so that we can identify your goals as well as any concerns that we need to be aware of and how often we want to meet. We'll schedule when and where we want to meet and start our practice.
Adults new to yoga, experienced yogis, weight trainers, runners and athletes, cancer survivors, children under age 10, elderly, adults and children with physical and mental disabilities.
Look for a teacher that you connect with personally. There are many styles of yoga, and many wonderful teachers. Find someone you feel comfortable laughing with and asking questions of. This will help you get the most out of your experience.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Be prepared to be honest about what you are looking for with your practice, as well as what challenges you have. If you have knee issues, make sure to ask a potential teacher how they can adapt poses to meet your needs, rather than just having you opt out of those poses.

I was a yoga newbie, and Ann made me feel so comfortable. She was very helpful when I wasn't sure about what I was doing. Her classes are great exercise, yet they are so relaxing at the same time. Love coming to her sessions!
Best Yoga i have done... i was never a fan of yoga till i did Ann's Class.. she very nice and pushes you to your limits :)
