About Jade
Hi there! My name is Jade, I am a recent graduate from Stellenbosch University where I received my Honors in Plant Biotechnology, Cum Laude.
During my time there I tutored through the university's official program and found I really enjoyed it. I'm patient and easy to talk to, and I make a point of going at whatever pace works best for you.

My lessons are aimed at Grade 5–12 learners who want to build a solid understanding of their work, not just memorise for a test. I focus on making sure students actually grasp the concepts before moving on, so we go at whatever pace works for them.
A typical lesson usually starts by going over anything the student struggled with recently such as homework, a test, or a topic that didn't quite click. We then work through it together in a way that makes sense to them. I like to keep things relaxed and low-pressure so students feel comfortable asking questions.
I tutor in English and can help with Maths, Life Sciences, Physics, and Chemistry. I'm happy to work around a student's school schedule and exam dates, and I'm comfortable helping with both ongoing weekly sessions and last-minute exam prep.
