About Katie
Hi, I am Katie a fully qualified trademark attorney who enjoys tutoring others.
I have worked with children for 10 years in a variety of roles including Rainbow and Guide leader in Radlett, Brownie leader in Birmingham (while at university) and while running my own private tuition company for 2 years. I have a DBS check for all my guiding and work activities. I also have a clean driving licence
I have tutored children working towards the 8+ private school entrance exams, Key Stage 1 and 2 SATS and 11+ entrance exams for selective schools in Hertfordshire and Birmingham. I work with children from Year 3 to ensure they have the correct level of vocabulary and understanding of core concepts to start intensive 11+ prep in Year 4.
My last pupil went from a level 3 in English when assessed by his class tutor in September 2017 to achieve a level 5 in his SATS results in June 2018.
