I started playing the violin when I was three, and due to the pandemic, I had completely stopped playing violin for about a year. Not having the violin in my life for that year was much more challenging than I had expected. My previous teacher had stopped teaching because he did not have online lessons, so my mother and I began searching for a new teacher to guide me and help me improve to the level I once was. I was nervous to start classes again like every person, mainly because I had not played in such a long time. The first day I started lessons with Tamara, her smile and support made me feel like I had known her forever. She encourages me as no teacher has before, and her classes are the highlight of my week. I am now playing the violin better than I had ever imagined, and I could not be more thankful to have found her.
