About Amish
I’m a graduate of the University of California, Riverside—a research-based institution—where I majored in biological sciences and conducted hands-on research in entomology, studying insect behavior. As a researcher, I’ve developed a strong foundation in scientific thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving—skills I use to help students think critically and master challenging subjects. I recently completed the MCAT and created effective strategies for learning and retaining complex material, which I now apply in tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s learning style. My subject expertise includes Biology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, and Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I worked for two years as a medical assistant at a top physician’s clinic, gaining valuable clinical experience and communication skills. I’m also a licensed pilot—an experience that’s sharpened my ability to stay focused, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. I’ve been tutoring since high school and have also served as a mentor at my university, helping students find balance, stay motivated, and succeed both academically and personally. I’m passionate about teaching and firmly believe that with the right guidance, every student has the ability to excel. Beyond test prep, my background includes years of tutoring experience and mentorship roles where I’ve helped students navigate both academic and personal challenges.
