At iSurf we pride ourselves on offering Santa Barbara and Ventura's best surfing experience which is why we are the only surf school in our area to be endorsed by the World Surf League.

Started teaching surfing during my undergraduate studies at UCSB for another local surf school. After getting my masters I decided I wanted to get back into teaching surfing because I had loved it so much so my wife and I started iSurf in 2013 and I haven’t looked back. Best thing I ever did!
I have a masters in science in environmental science in conjunction with over 35 years of surfing experience.

We like to start by getting to you and your surfing experience. From there, we are able to design and implement a personalized lesson that will help each student to grow and improve as a surfer.
Mostly work with first time/beginners to intermediate surfers.
