I was someone that went to a heavily populated public school system, and I realized through that experience that a lot can happen academically for a student in between the ringing of the bells, and not just during. I was fortunate to have parents that were home and available to help with homework and studying, but I know plenty of people are not so lucky. I will attempt to fill that gap if possible, using a wide array of experiences to guide my success.

Initial time taken to illustrate goals, outline a plan, and determine any additional needs prior to beginning a tutoring session about a subject.
I usually try to spend some time empowering new students, ensuring they understand that I believe they can accomplish anything we try, and that I am working for them, not them for me.
I will ensure hard deadlines are met, and soft deadlines are kept approrpriate and realistic to student performance and expectations.
I will also work with the parent or guardian, if applicable, to determine their own desires and attempt to mesh the common elements of all interested parties, tracked through daily and weekly progress reports.
