About Carlye
¡Hola mis amigos! My name is Carlye and I am a third year student at Nebraska Wesleyan University studying the Spanish language. I will be studying abroad in Spain this fall, and I am so excited for that! I have been teaching online to other students I go to school with for 3 months now, and I love helping others learn Spanish.
I got started originally tutoring my friends with their Spanish classes, and now I´m here!
I have also been tutored in Spanish before, and I have been taking Spanish for 6 years. I am going to be Studying abroad in Spain soon too so I will have even more experience in the language after my experience abroad!

I like to start out with a little bit of small talk when I first log on with a student, then I move onto what that student would like to work on that day. I try to keep the lessons fairly simple so the sudent does not get overloaded with information. I like to help the student in their process of learning a language by providing them with tools such as little assignments and things to practice to help them to better their learning abilities. I also introduce a studying technique that will help students effectively and efficiently learn a new language such that it isn´t overwhelming.
I have worked with about 3 consistent students in the past.
Look for someone who is passionate about a students improvement and someone who simply cares about a student and will work with them at their pace.
Recently, I have hung out with my best friend and we got to spend a whole day together which is rare, as she is constantly busy.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I need help with most?
What do I want to improve on most?
What are my goals with this language? Am I trying to become fluent or do I just need help with a class?
