In Spanish 4, I liked working with Jessica Mealey as we read the book “En el tiempo de la mariposa” because the book made me feel like a real student in a spanish country since the book was all in Spanish. I also liked the class discussion we had in AP Spanish Class. I believe It enable me to improve my spanish speaking into a more fluent, smooth and professional one. In Mrs.Mealey class, it was a fun because as Mrs.Mealey is very easygoing, the projects were never boring. In both spanish 4 and AP spanish, we had a cooking project. We had to record ourself while cooking and it was fun! In my second cooking project, I had to work with a partner and we had fun while recording and the foods were delicious!

Mrs. Mealey always pushed me to work harder. She made class fun and interactive by giving us food projects, skits, poster projects and more to get us not only more involved in the class, but more involved in the cultures of the countries we studied. When I didn't understand a topic or lesson, she took the time to give me an extra lesson or explanation of the topic and gave me extra time to work on an assignment if I didn't fully understand it the first time around. She wanted us to not only do good in her class, but to enjoy it and enjoy learning, which is why she is one of my favorite teachers.
