About Cassandra
I am a professional Singer / Actress / Songwriter all over the world, from Off-Broadway Musicals to released albums in America, Canada, and all over the UK. I've worked as an Agent, Manager and Headliner in New York City for over 10 years, coming from Theater and Concert Production in Canada. With more than 20 years of experience, I have worked with the most talented professionals in the industry to bring you comprehensive knowledge and insider secrets about not only skill- but presentation, career motivated goals, and distribution.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
Voice: the basics of sound production, control and breathwork, vowels and consanants, sound quality, and strength and safety work. Body control focus as well as endurance and knowledge of the instrument from a grass roots level all the way up to personalizing your voice and finding that unique sound that is "you".
Performance: How to lead a band, how to sing with a band, singing into a microphone, singing in a recording booth, fan participation, band conducting, emotional connection, and overall body and facial appearance.
Songwriting: How to begin to write a song, how to compose lyrics, poetry in motion, the benefits of silence, emotional conveyance and use of emotion in music, colors in music. Help with melody, creation, and self production. How to fix a song that isn't working. How to be creative and get out of a writers block. Skills and tools to work new music and create something from nothing. Fixing songs and seeing them into production and recording.
Practical: How to put a band together, where to rehearse, how to study and set up rehearsals, how to put together an EPK (electronic press kit), how to look for management, how to self produce, how to put an album together and take it through to recording, how to release your music, how to book shows, how to begin to build fan bases and engagement, merchandise and money management, and social media and website platform advertising.
Coaching: Band coaching, duets, trios, etc. Work on blending sound and curating live music to the best sound prodution possible. How to work with the equipment and the microphone, how to conduct your band on stage without speaking, how to perform for an audience. How to stand, move your body, and work through song changes. How to speak to the audience, what to wear, and overall management consulting.

In an initial class assessment we work out a plan for your future goals - no matter how big or small, and make a step by step plan on how to achieve them.
I also do last minute audition coachings.
SKILL LEVEL:
I work with all kinds of students, from beginners to broadway professionals and recording artists. If you're new at this - don't worry! I will lead you right through it so you feel comfortable. Are you a seasoned professional? Lets get you that audition, record that song, and market a stellar EPK!
AGES:
I work with adults and children of all ages! Full Bodied Sound (my company) has created programs for both children in half-way houses and foster homes, to elderly at rehabilitation and care facilities. I work and manage bands of any age and style.
