About Amanda
Hello,
My name is Amanda and I have been studying Voice for 9 years. Under multiple teachers, I have learned Bel Canto and Speech Level techniques which have helped me to perform many styles of music. I have performed in night clubs, musicals, private parties, public events, recitals, and operas.
These techniques are used in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Opera, Classical, and Pop music. My coachings will elevate ones abilities in any genre they wish to study. No matter what goal you have in vocals and musical performance, I want to help you achieve it.
I am currently a senior at CSUN pursuing my degree in Vocal performance. Being a student myself, I understand the struggles a new singer can face and how to overcome them. I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your dreams and aspirations. Music is a collaborative art so lets learn and grow together!

When working with a new student it is important to learn what the student wishes to acheive and take from their lessons. Another important element is to introduce the student to the techniques we will be utilizing in our time together. A teacher's job is to make learning fun and comfortable when working on something as personal as the voice. Every student is different and it is my responsibility to take the lessons at the pace that fits them.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should always feel comfortable asking questions and feel free to express every need they feel should be met. In my opinion, there is no stupid question. Learning to sing with a new technique can feel odd and may take time to get used to. Asking questions can solve problems and give further understanding to both student and teacher.

I've been working with Amanda since I started singing 8 years ago.
