About Kasey
I am a private instructor with 30+ years of martial arts and self defense disciplines including boxing, kickboxing, Karate, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Jun Fan/JKD, Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts, Indonesian Martial Arts, Grappling and Brazilian Jiujistu and Afro Brazilian Capoeira. I have experience as a bouncer as well as a competitive champion fighter in many disciplines. I have an unique method of teaching "Martial Arts Science" as it applies to everyday life situations basd on Physics and Kinesiology of dynamic movement. Sounds fancy but I have found a simple method to teach you effectively while having fun in learning.
I enjoy offering options that fit every lifestyle from the physical, mental, and spiritual exercises for a total body and mind holistic overview! I enjoy the interaction with my clients and students and building relationships In learning
My formal experience was in taekwondo. I started teaching in 1989 as youngest instructor in the jhoon Rhee system. I also obtained my traditional training with Master Ianicelli under the International Taekwondo Federation. I studied under various styles of Filipino martial arts which included close quarters weapons and escrima stick fighting plus hand to hand. I also studied Wing Chun Gung Fu and Jun Fan/JKD under the tutilage of different masters. I trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the early 90s as well as Muay Thai and competition Kickboxing. I competed as a circuit fighter in many open tournaments and received many 1st places in fighting... but that was not my true passion. When I saw that I could break down movements for me to learn multiple arts I knew that I could I deep desire to help others learn.
I am a multi disciplined martial artist with self defense and competitive history spanning over 30+ years. Disciplines include- boxing, kickboxing, karate, tae Kwon do, wing chun, jun fan jkd, Filipino martial arts, grappling and Brazilian Jiujitsu, Indonesian Silat, and Capoeira and healing arts

We assess every student that come in, and explore their own personal abilities and provide programs to best suit their requests in group and private sessions
I have worked with kids and adolescents as well as people from all backgrounds and skill levels including military, law enforcement, women's groups, at risk teens, as well as drug/alcohol recovery clients
