About Kim
I am a certified Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and received my certification in Los Angeles, CA. I received my Level I and Level II certifications in 2016 and spent a little over a year practicing, honing my skills, learning crystal healing, as well as expanding my knowledge in other areas of Reiki (Holy Fire, Karuna, Rainbow). Once, I felt ready, I received by Master/Teacher certification in 2017. I currently offer sessions and teach in the Los Angeles area (Koreatown / Mid-Wilshire); however, I also offer some teaching sessions in the Joshua Tree area. In addition to Reiki sessions and teaching, I'm also a nutritional coach with Arbonne. I believe that what we put into our bodies directly affects our health, our spirit and our thoughts. We are what we eat, breath, drink and think, so make those things positive and healthy.

I got interested in Reiki when researching remedies for high eye pressure in animals, as I have a blind dog. While researching, I came across information on Reiki and immediately I knew it was for me. I did a lot of research and reading, and decided to take Level I and II in the same weekend and I was hooked! After practicing and performing Reiki on family and friends (and myself), I was drawn to do more, so after a year, I took the Reiki Master/Teacher class and received by certification.
I am a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and trained with a Usui Master/Teacher for over a year in order to take the Master/Teacher classes and become certified.

I like to meet with a new student and speak with them about how they learned of Reiki, their reasons for wanting to learn Reiki, what they expect to get out the lessons/teaching, have they experienced Reiki or had a Reiki session, etc.
I work with all types of students who are interested in Reiki, have an open mind, and are willing to listen and experience the energy that surrounds us.
My dog is blind after suffering detachment of both lenses in his eyes. He has had several surgeries and ultimately after several years of having limited vision in his left eye, he went blind. As you may imagine, he is very wary about going different places and I have him on a leash at all times when out of the house or office, and sometimes I even carry him in a carrier! Well, obviously he bumps into things, a lot of things when roaming around the home or office. After I started performing Reiki on him, I noticed that he wasn't bumping into things as often and I could let him walk with much more slack in his leash and he would maneuver around things much more easily. He seemed calmer as well, and certainly slept better! He even started dreaming more! It has made a significant difference!
Another experience: I was treating a client who was in an active seizure when I showed up for the treatment. Within a few minutes of treatment, the seizure subsided and she was calm and relaxed.
