About Mrs mary
Hello :) My name is Mrs. Mary. Since 1997, I have been teaching reading and writing. I am MSDE licensed Provider and have full background check etc.,.
I have Covid precautions in place. I offer indoor, outdoor and online Zoom Tutoring. Best Prices Ever!
I am also a Verteran Homeschool Parent and often Mentor parents who have just started Homeschooling due to Covid.
Scores of children, 3 years and older have learned to read and love reading, through my time tested, individualized, fun methods.
My love for children shows as I tutor them with encouragments, esteem building and celebration of each step.
I love what I do and I love to see their faces light up with understanding, self confidence and the joy of reading and learning.

Scores of children, 3 years and older have learned to read and love reading, through my time tested, individualized, fun methods.I love to see children light up with self-confidence, understanding and achievement as they learn to read.
I love the reward I feel when I know that I have taught them the greatest skill of their lifetime.
I have been told that I am gifted in teaching since about 12 years of age, when I assisted teachers, on a weekly basis.
I also am the Director of Marys Little Lambs where I taught many pre-schoolers to read and they were reading scores of books prior to age 5. I have retired from Marys Little Lambs and have continued teaching through tutoring.
I have been teaching pre-school since 1997. I taught Sunday School and I have Coached many sports over the years which is a form a teacher/training with the skill of motivating and encouragement.
In my experience, I have learned that it takes a person that can read non-verbal ques from children to know what they are ready to learn, as they are often not able to clearly express themselves.
I also have many, many hours in CEE's to maintin my MSDE license.
I am licensed by MSDE as a Childcare Provider. My house is Inspected yearly by MSDE to maintian my license. I also have updated Full background checks and continuing education each year.

The first session is Free! It is for us to get to know each other and access where your child is at and allow parents to get to know me and my methods.
Parents are encouraged to be nearby, within sight and sound of their childs tutoring session.
Ages 2-10 years of age is oftenthe range of students I have worked with.
How rewarding it was for me and Kylees's mom to see the pride and confidence on Kylee's face yesterday, as she read her first book!
This time, she didn't have to look at the pictures, to try and guess the words. She didn't have to memorize the book to "look" like she could read.
Kylee is 8 years old and has been trying to read for a few years. She can read some words that she see's in her big sisters texting though, like "Luv" "Yes" and "No."
I learned that Kylee loves to draw and soon Kylee and I used her drawings to help her remember the phonics.
Kylee has learned that I care about her learning but I also care about her heart and that I will never pressure her, or make her feel incompitent or step-in when she is trying to process a sound because I do not want her to think that she can't do it. I also remember to review her accomplishments so far, so that her confindence continues to build.
Finally, I know when her mind if full for the day and I know it's important to keep learning fun until she takes over and owns it for herself.

Details
I charge $35.00 for 45 minutes. I will go up to an hour if the student wants to continue and if l feel it is avenageous for the student, providing my schedule permits it.
I Provide play breaks for younger children. I want them to enjoy my tutor lessons and I them to want to come back.
