About Vanessa
Hello all. My name is Vanessa and I am a Occupational Therapist with a Masters degree certified as a Stroke Rehab Specialist. I have been in this field for 4 years. I am well competent in the areas pertaining to the human body, health, anatomy, ergonomics, development, strength and conditioning. I love biology and neuroscience and I am continuously researching the best evidence based practice out there to provide to my patients. I love to read and continue to expand my knowledge in these areas. I love to assist others in understanding and further expanding their knowledge base.
I value being in a field where I am able to help others. Whether that is through environmental adaptations, short term/ long term physical, neuro and cognitive rehab re-training, Neuro re-eduaction, ergonomic education & simply learning ways to be as independent as possible. I believe it is important for people to have basic understanding of core classes and pre-requisites, as well as how the body functions. I work with a wide variety of diagnosis' and disabilities with children to adults. I love to help others in utilizing various studying techniques, along with grasping and retaining their current area of studies whether it is for school purposes or personal development.
