About Samantha
I am currently a first grade teacher in Columbus, Oh. I have also previously been a Kindergarten teacher. I am currently entering my third year of teaching. My state license includes children ages kindergarten through third grade. My license also includes all subject areas including mathematics, reading, science and social studies. I am also currently beginning graduate classes for a reading endorsement. It is also important to include that I currently work with students who are bilingual and whom are all learning english as a second language.
In terms of teaching, I find the opportunity to be part of a child's life rewarding. I enjoy supporting students in growth throughout all areas of their life. This includes building strong relationships with students and their families. I would like to continue this outside of the classroom during breaks from school, as well as after school during the typical school year.
