About Renee
We focus on the entire musical experience for each student by encouraging students to participate in our monthly social and performance opportunities. We offer free workshops for parents and teachers.
I love seeing and hearing our students explore new music or music in new ways while learning!
I was looking for a fun and inspiring piano teacher for my son back in 2007. The rest has been history!
I have a master's degree in education. Some of our instructors have their phds in music. Each instructor's biography is listed on our website at (concealed information)

Each student is unique. Therefore each student has an individualized lesson plan based on the students' needs and interests.
We work with students of all ages and all stages in their music. Our youngest students have been barely three years old and our oldest student has been 88 so far! Music is ageless! We do also work with students with physical and intellectual limitiations.
Honesty is always helpful in starting off the student & teacher relationship successfully. The students are more successful if they are honest about much they are willing to practice and how much practice they completed before the lesson.
There are simply to many! Our nursing home and assisted living recitals are always special because our students bring so much joy to the residents. Our large formal winter recitals are a huge celebration of our students' accomplishments from the year. Parent Appreciation Night is a great opportunity for me to get to know our parents and to say thank you. Adult Student Night is terrific because our adult students have a lot in common with each other. I really could keep writing in this section because we offer a lot of events here.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
When a student is beginning lessons, it is helpful if they already know what types of music they want to eventually learn. It is also helpful for the student AND instructor if the student is able to create long term goals for him or herself.

Instead of just assigning a teacher, Renee makes every effort to match a student with the teacher that will best fit the student's learning style, personality, and schedule. Working with Renee is a pleasure and the convenience of in-home private lessons is a life-saver. The best part, however, is finding such an amazing group of teacher-musicians to work with. Each of the teachers has top-notch qualifications and teaching experience (in many different instruments, including voice). At higher levels, tweens and teens can even take workshops in theory and composition and are constantly offered new learning and performance opportunities. I can't think of a better way to introduce my kids to the world of music and am even considering taking lessons myself!
The studio is very responsive and convenient! They were able to match us with a teacher and get our lessons started the same week, and the in-home lessons make scheduling very easy. Renee is very friendly and communicative, and we are very excited about all the extra events that they offer! I highly recommend this studio, it has been an excellent experience!
