Clara is an amazing piano instructor.

I started taking lessons with her a couple of months ago, wanting to pick piano back up after years of not playing.

Some of the things I was worried about were: will my instructor be invested in my growth and how much can I learn through online lessons? Contrary to my previous instructors, Clara is heavily invested in my progress. She sets small goals with me, dissects large pieces bit by bit so they're easier to learn, allows me the opportunity to choose the songs I want to learn, and always uses positive reinforcement to strengthen the things I'm doing right. Her style helps me progress and learn quickly.

Clara also uses technology to her advantage during our online lessons, carefully looking at the way I'm playing, and gives me proper feedback on how to adapt my style. It's as if I'm taking lessons with her in person.

Lastly, and I think most importantly, she balances progress and learning with enjoyment and fun. She stresses on playing songs with emotion, keeping perfection on the side at least in the early stages of learning a song, and really brings out your interpretation of the song. (This is a testament to her warm and friendly character).

Overall, I'm so happy Clara is my instructor, and I'm even happier that the progress I've made with her over the past few months have been great. She's a piano wizard.

Clara Lee is a fantastic musician and teacher. She is teaching four of our children (ages 8 to 16). One of the best things about Mrs. Lee is her ability to easily adapt to each child's skill level, learning style, and personality. Our kids represent quite a range, and they all love her! Our drummer (who went in to his first piano lesson grumbling that he didn't want to play piano) has had no complaints since his first lesson with Mrs. Lee. We can't say enough about her, and we always recommend her to anyone looking for a teacher!
