About Maurizio

30 years of experience teaching Piano and Music Theory to children and adults.

I focus in mainly two things: 1) the development of a solid and confident keyboard technique, and 2) building a repertoire or song list around the musical taste of my students.

Classical Piano Music from the great European Composers of the 18th and 19th Centuries (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, etc)

Popular, Modern and Film music (Beatles, Star Wars, Broadway Show Tunes, etc)

Jazz, Brazilian, Tango (Ellington, Jobim, Piazzolla, etc)

Classes available also in Spanish and Italian languages for non English speakers.

I enjoy working with students who are dedicated and who will seriously invest time in practicing the materials and music learned during the class.

Helping my classmates at school and Music Conservatory.

Degree in Piano and Music Composition.

Active performer in the NY live music scene for the last 30 years.
