Mrs. Kaldor is knowledgeable, professional, and loves what she does. My girls learned a great deal under her instruction.

My daughter started taking classes with Mrs. Diane Kaldor a year ago, when she was only 5 years old. Within a year, I have seen her blossom to an excellent Piano player. I know for sure that it is only because of a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Kaldor. My daughter was so young, (but had tremendous passion for music) she wouldn’t even sit for 30 mins class at a stretch. Mrs. Kaldor was extremely patient with her but slowly nudged the music into her. She identified my daughter’s interest in music and relentlessly fostered it. Today, my daughter runs to piano all the time and sits and practices on her own for 30 minutes. My daughter at merely 6 years of age is capable of doing this and I solely attribute it to Mrs. Kaldor’s style of teaching.

1. Mrs. Kaldor emphasizes on techniques of correct Piano playing. In addition, she introduces students to techniques that are not prescribed in the standard books. This prior introduction to standard techniques helps them progress quickly through various levels.

2. Encourages students to read music independently, so they are pretty much self-learners and need guidance to impart nuances to improve their style of playing.

3. Her lessons are individually tailored to fit the needs of students.

4. She is extremely patient and very professional and informs parents of their child’s ability

5. She takes extra efforts to help children move in the right direction especially in my daughter’s case she has given extra books to help cater to her desire to be a professional piano player

To sum it all, we are extremely pleased with her style of teaching and the progress that we see in our daughter.
