About Alexander
Hi, my name is Alex Hermstad. I'm the publisher and student-teacher for acclaimed pianist David Christie.
David has been applying and refining his unique teaching protocol for over 40 years, helping a multitude of students achieve their musical goals. I'm proud to now be offering
We believe that learning piano should be a blast and that it should be accessible to everyone.
Unfortunately, many of the traditional piano teaching methods used today are overly difficult and strict. Students often burn out with these methods, and quit playing due to a lack of motivation.
The good news is, we offer a unique teaching method designed around the enjoyment of the student. By focusing on sight-reading, we offer the student a perfect balance of fun and challenge.
Our flexible method leaves the student open to explore any style of their choice; including classical, jazz, and contemporary.
The rate is $30 for a 45-minute lesson. You'll need an internet connection, a piano, and a laptop or computer with webcam.
I love the satisfaction of helping students deepen their connection to music.
Learning the piano is one of the most challenging yet satisfying activities paths to walk; I enjoy acting as a guide for my students to help them on their musical journey.
