About Jeremy
I've been a professional photographer for about 25 years and I love my job. I'm personable and I find a lot of enjoyment out of teaching others this art. I don't like to talk myself up much, but I do pay close attention to detail and this is huge when it comes to composing a beautiful image. I like to bring each students attention to the things involved in producing beautiful imagery.
My beginnings as a teacher started with my associate photographers many years ago. I take all of my associates on photography assignments on a regular basis and I teach them whatever is needed to develope their skills and prepare them to go out on their own and produce beauitful imagery. Teaching associates evolved into giving lessons.
Twenty plus years ago I took classes on photography. I was already working for a portrait studio getting hands on training. I worked for that studio for nine years and then started my own business. Much of what I know is self taught, but I've had many great teachers in the process. I've been doing photography full time now for twenty five years.

When teaching a new student I like to hear from them first. Everyone is unique and has different desires, so I like to get to know each individual and see what intrigues them about photography. I make sure that I'm considerate on teaching what wants to be learned as well as what it takes to produce an amazing image.
I've worked with many different types of students from elementary school students to adults. The youngest students that I teach are around the age of ten. I only take on those that have a desire to develope their skills as a photographer.
When looking to hire a photography teacher one should always view that teachers portfolio (website, instagram, Facebook, etc.). If you love what you see, then that's a good start. I also think it's a good idea to talk with the teacher before signing up. This might not be possible in all situations, but if it is, then talk to the teacher and see if he or she is going to be a good fit for you.
I recently had a photo shoot in Puerta Vallarta with a wonderful family. I took my wife and we made a vacation out of it and it was wonderful.
